Meeting minutes from 02/12/2008
Attendance:
- Jim Brinkley, Dan Cook, Onard Mejino, Todd Detwiler, Josh Franklin, John Gennari, Marianne Shaw, Jiun-Hung Chen, Gary Yngve
Summary
Onard talked about a possible application ontology of anatomical landmarks for radiology that Daniel proposed. As a starting point Daniel suggested we look into the key landmarks used to define the Couinaud segments of the liver (http://dpi.radiology.uiowa.edu/nlm/app/livertoc/liver/8seg.html). Identifying these segments properly has significant impact on surgical procedures involving the resection of tumors in the liver.
