The source compiles out of the box on RHEL4; if you need to regenerate the import libs you need:

The Visible Human slice numbers in the BodyGen tutorial are apparently wrong, but you can use almost any stack of images. Due to a bug, names must not have leading zeros (i.e., start at 1001 instead of 0001).

You can convert the uncompressed images like this:

VH=/usr/local/data/data18/vh/UNCOMPRESSED/
ln $VH/a_vm1542.raw.Z my1542.rgb
convert -size 2048x1216+0 my1542.rgb my1542.bmp
rm -f my1542.rgb
