Adding Users to the Windows Domain

  1. Log into a Domain Controller (currently viscus or dura)
  2. Open Administrative Tools -> Active Directory Users and Computers (make sure it's not Local Users, if so you're on the wrong machine)
  3. Click on Action|New|User and fill in the boxes
  4. Follow steps on workstation to make sure files are being backed up?

Adding Local Users to a single workstation

  1. Log in as either local admin or domain admin
  2. Open Control Panel -> Users
  3. Click add new user button.
  4. Fill out details for user account, including which permission groups that user is a part of.
