Blue screen on Onard's machine

Onard got a blue screen this morning with error:

MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

I did a quick web search and it looks like there are a lot of possible causes, so I think it would be best to update all drivers from Dell's website, check for BIOS updates (I think it's at 2.1.0), and make sure the McAfee version is the latest.

Todd also mentioned he's seen a few freezes though no blue screen, so it wouldn't hurt to update his machine too.

Onard's service tag is 8X76RC1.

I checked the Dell website for any possible updates, it looks like the BIOS is up to date. Windows update didn't have any driver updates either. I checked the device manager and there was a device that wasn't recognized by windows, it might not be related but as long as I'm updating drivers I'll see if there are drivers on the dell site. I think the next step I'll try is to update the network, sound, and motherboard, and videocard drivers.

JE,

Did you update McAfee on Onard's new machine too? It's not clear from you comment. If you did make sure to close the ticket as "Fixed".

At the time we hadn't considered the AV software as a possible cause to the blue screens so it wasn't updated. I've updated it now.
