Todd's machine has a blue screen with a different error than Onard's had.


The driver listed is mvstdi5x.sys... please make sure we're using the latest from (it's 8.5i for Summer 2007) and look if McAfee has any separate patches available.

Since we've moved out of G and H wings and gotten new machines for Todd and Onard, our hardware inventory is out of date. JE and I can work on this during the summer.

Onard got a blue screen this morning with error:


I did a quick web search and it looks like there are a lot of possible causes, so I think it would be best to update all drivers from Dell's website, check for BIOS updates (I think it's at 2.1.0), and make sure the McAfee version is the latest.

Todd also mentioned he's seen a few freezes though no blue screen, so it wouldn't hurt to update his machine too.
